By Larry LeMasters Because the Berlin Wall both physically and ideologically separated East Germany from the West, Americans grew up knowing virtually nothing about the economy and way of life of East German people. Fortunately for toy collectors, German reunification has allowed collectors to search a heretofore-untapped reservoir of toys, communist made East German toys, which have emerged following the Cold War.
