Nemadji pottery did its best to hide its Minnesota roots

Nemadji pottery has a decidedly Southwestern look with its eye-catching mix of multi-colored swirls against an earth-tone base. Those who see it for the first time might assume it was made in Arizona or New Mexico. Few would guess northeastern Minnesota.
