By Larry LeMasters William Henry Pratt was world famous, but few people know him by that name. He was better known by his stage name — Boris Karloff. Karloff (1887-1969) was an English actor who gained international fame starring as Frankenstein’s monster in the classic 1931 horror film Frankenstein.
