By Nancy Kelly ALMONT, Mich. — In 1977 Edward “Duane” Hertz and his brothers started Service Towing in Warren, Mich., following in the footsteps of their father Edward who had run a towing company since 1949. Duane’s professionalism and expertise were greatly appreciated by the community. In his spare time, he and his wife Sandi enjoyed traveling around the country in search of collectibles related to this line of work.
