TIPTON, Mich. — On Oct. 8, Braun & Helmer Auction Service held an outstanding sale of Great Lakes maritime artifacts, art, and antiques. Pieces came from the lifetime collection of Captain Steven Welch of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., former owner of the Original Soo Locks Boat Tours Company.
