By Larry LeMasters American doll collectors have loved Simpich Character Dolls since their inception in 1952. Today, these dolls are still highly sought after, especially specialty Simpich dolls such as Simpich Thanksgiving Dolls. Artists Bob and Jan Simpich founded Simpich Character Dolls in 1952 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
