One of the most famous faces in advertising history is Elsie the Cow. Decades before today’s celebrities appeared on television and in print with a milk mustache and the famous words, “Got milk?” Elsie “mooed” on national television as the first spokescow for Borden’s dairy products, and every American household knew her name.
