By Larry LeMasters Jacob Marx, father of famed toy maker Louis Marx, founded the Jaymar Specialty Company, along with his son David and daughter Rose, in the 1920s. Located at 200 Fifth Avenue in New York City, Jaymar specialized in wood jointed string dolls and interlocking wooden puzzles.
