David Boudon plied his trade as a portrait painter
By David McCormick Born in Geneva, Switzerland, David Boudon (circa 1748-1817) came to the United States around 1794. Boudon, began his career as a draftsman and engraver in his native coutry. He was at midlife when he Immigrated to America. He found his skills as engraver helpful in the detail work involved in in miniature portraiture.
