Beech-Nut Peanut Butter still tickles collectors’ palates

March 1 was National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day, which was first celebrated on March 1, 1990. This date commemorated the anniversary of when peanut butter made its commercial debut in the United States. Up until this time, peanut butter had been available in the US only as the hand-made variety.
