Bidders flocked to turkey calls at Furlo auction
By William Flood BAY CITY, Mich. — Certain auctions have an almost magnetic appeal that is rooted in the merchandise offered. That was the case with the 200 lots of handcrafted turkey calls available in the final of five auctions to liquidate the Robert and Judith Kareus wildlife memorabilia collection. The March 28-April 23 sale was conducted on HiBid by Michigan’s Furlo Auction & Appraisal Service.
