Turner toys provided fun for children of all ages
The John C. Turner Company, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, was famous for its line of “Victory is Won” flywheel metal toy trucks. John C. Turner founded the company that was named for him in 1915, but he founded it on the flywheel mechanism that I. Donald Boyer patented in 1897. Placing his flywheel mechanism into sheet-metal floor toys, Boyer revolutionized the American toy industry.
